Default Help with A/C not staying on

Alright guys, here's my problem.

02 Z0, decent sized cam, A&A kit with YSi. The a/c is charged to appropriate levels. Idle's at 800. Whenever the car is idling and you turn the a/c on it, it kicks on for a second then instantly turns off. If you hold the rpms above 1,100 the air will stay on. While cruising the air stays on just fines. We've raised the rpm values, played with the tq bump or whatever that parameter is to no avail. Or if its idling and you click the a/c on, it comes on then turns right off, but as you blip the throttle to over 1100 it comes right back on.

Some of you more advanced tuning junkies please help.

I don't have the lap top here at work with me.

What should it be set to?

But if it were a psi switch, then how is it working when the idle is above 1100? Wouldn't it still kick off with a bad switch?

Unstable idle disables the A/C, part of the "stall saver
strategy". Try disabling that (or cleaning up idle bounce).

The idle is VERY stable and does not bounce around normally.

I'll have my tuner look into that. Thanks for the info.

Thank you very much for the input sir. My tuner disabled the "stall saver" and that worked perfectly! I owe you a cold one

Oh and Bill at HP Tuner's response to the same question. This is the first time we've heard of this issue.
