2002silverz28matt

I just had a t56 magnum put in my car and the handle hits the console. We tried bending it back to get more clearance, but it still hits when you put it in 1st gear. Has anyone else had this problem? Did you guys find a handle that worked, like a mustang one or something? Thanks in advance.
