Automotive News, Media & Press - Whats a 1EY37 Camaro?!?!?

Ok I work for a Chevy Dealership, sometimes I get to order Cars/Trucks...Well today I went to order a 2SS 45th which is a 1ET37 but right underneath the 2SS model was this 1EY37 with this description next to it


1EY37-Chevrolet Camaro/Impala SS CPE 2 DR Notchback

now once selected it to order no options appeared so I assume they have not uploaded any options yet but WTF? Is this some Aussie car? All other Camaro's are listed as Coupes (V6-v8) so whats this "notchback"?

Sounds interesting.....no other info listed I take it?

nope not a thing, once I select it it list no options under PEG group...I have heard here at work maybe Fleet unit or maybe its a ZL1 model code? But why the Impala part? Very strange

its still an E body, so its a camaro... guess they're not F bodies anymore, huh? the 37 means its a 2 door, so same body, whats the code for a convert? still 37? 57? it could be the ZL1, which is coming soon...

its probably the rare Camaro wagon with the LSA....

U can't, won't let u select a trim package yet, I was wanting somebody who works at GM might chime in...might be ZL1 im thinking but its strange it says Impala
