Introductions & Greetings - looking to learn-

My name is Darren Parsons, from the southern California desert (Ridgecrest) I have a 1450 race truck (1969 f100 with 93 ranger cab) I am getting ready to drop in a 99 ls1 w/ a th400, within the next upcoming weeks. I'm looking to "spice" the motor up a bit, ls6 heads, ls6 intake, 224/228 112lsa cam, 918 valve springs, hardened 7.4 inch push rods, Cloyes hex adjust timing set, 2600 stall converter, and I'm having my th400 built up right now, and is going to have a manual valve body. If any of your guys have any advice, that'd be greatly appreciated, as this is my first time with a ls motor swap.
