Default Rebuilding 4l60e

I am now rebuilding a 4l60e that I do not know the condition of. Its a Jasper that I bought cheap as a working tranny. I have a very low budget.

Never taken apart a tranny before

Yes I know I a doomed to fail

Current Plan:

Install Transgo HD2 kit - mostly done, separator plate not drilled yet and valve body not reassembled.

Inspect the clutches, replace what is needed - inspection done. Pics below.

Possibly replace sunshell and sprag. Torlon check *****? Oversize 2-4 band?

Here are pics:

3-4 clutch pack. The forward and over run packs looks the same.

Reverse clutch pack looks great, I can still read the serial numbers on the clutches.

2-4 band:
Do I need to replace this? The black doesn't look to bad but bands are also cheap........

Also, my reverse input drum looks pretty flat, is it worth it getting a wider band? I have a stock LT1.....

Lastly, the over run clutches look odd to me.You can see the middle steel there is burned and the clutch sides facing it are black, but the clutch side facing the other steel looks fine. Is that an indication of something else wrong?

Who the hell put a damn snap ring in front of the input planet?

Been working on the damn ring for an hour and can't get it out. Keeps teasing me, making it look like its clearing the teeth, then snap. Back in place.

I have snap ring pliers that fit in there. Finally got it out. Time to sleep soon. Or drink some beer.
