Default High oil pressure.

My 99 Camaro with a 3.8 has a high flow oil pump rated at 70 psi. The pressure has been running around 90 psi here lately. But at times it spikes up to around 120 psi. It's been really hot here in Texas lately. Around 108 to 110 on a regular basis. Is this something I should be concerned about. My oil level is good, so I'm thinking maybe my sending unit is freaking out. Any other ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

you'd have oil coming out of your nose at 120psi, no way. bad sending unit most more than likely
