Cheap coil relocation (How to) with pics
Ive searched a while and couldnt find a solid answer on a cheap way to do it. This is what I came up with.
I purchased the relocation bracket off ebay 60$ but it can easily be made with 4; 5 inch bolts a drill and some steel. Ill post pics of the bracket tom.
The wires I purchased from autozone for 20$ they are for a 92 Lt1 camaro only tools required are some oil, flat head screw driver, needle nosed pliers, and regular pliers.
Hope this helps

Looks very clean man. Can you kinda explain how you did the wires on the harness? Will the harness reach to the packs without any splicing? And im guessing the brackets mount to the back of the heads?

The stock coil brackets are to large. If you make your own coil brackets you can compact them and you do not have to cut any of the wires to make it fit. The coil brackets that I fabricated are half the size of the stockers. Like I said a little less than $20 at home depot and the cost of the LT1 wires made it a low dollar mod.

Just a FYI for yall ... I beleive that Moroso makes a coil relocation bracket for LS series engines. For all of you that do not want to fabricate a bracket you might want to check their catalog. You can buy a 8.5 MM wire set from MSD if you wish to use their wires. I originally used some LT1 wires from Taylor but replaced them after 100K miles and use the MSD 8.5 MM wires currently.

I got my brackets off ebay for 60 bucks, they are just a thin piece of steel with 2 bolts through them and spacers you can make it yourself for under 20$
The wires i made from LT1 wires and the ls1 wires. but as said MSD makes a set they are 119$ I believe. No benifit to them besides cleaning up the engine bay.

Like I posted above you can make your brackets and spacers for less than $20 with hardwear from home depot or any hardwear store. After that is all comes down to how much you want to spend on your spark plug wires. This is not rocket science it is just hot rodding. Fabricating something instead of going to the store and buying it off the shelf is what hot rodding is all about.
