What's the difference...Steel/Aluminum What is the difference between Steel /Aluminum driveshaft?????
Is one better then the other.
What is the wieght/strength difference.
2002 covertiable A4 W/2.73 gears. I believe I have a steel driveshaft.
Should I look for a Aluminum drive shaft????????
Car weights 4350 pounds/need to lighten it any suggestions?????

I think there's only a 5 lbs difference in the driveshafts. Are you sure your car weights 4300 lbs. Find a truck stop with a scale and weight it. My 98 Z weight in at 3315 lbs. I did some mods but not a 1000lbs worth. (note no drive & less than 1/4 of a tank of gas.)
