Default Question bout true dual exhaust

Wats up I was wondering wats the best sounding exhaust for a true dual set up? Is the loadmouth a good sounding exhaust or the dynomax bullits? Im wanting a deep loud sound not to raspy. Thanks

tsp duals with sweet thunders by far has been my fav setup, had a loudmouth 1 and was very very raspy on a cammed car, its really gonna depend on your mods how your car will sound ,but imo duals own all,but they are loud and have a good amount of drone, but trust me car will sound killer, and if you want loud and to sound good its duals or bust

If you want deep, you don't want bullets. And the LM sounds like **** - basically like a boat with straight pipes.

Flowmaster single-chambers and Magnaflow 4x9s seem to be the consensus if you want a deep, aggressive tone; bullets have a higher-pitched, more raw tone.

I beg to differ on the LM sounds like ****. I have a true dual LM1 setup, my video clip is on the next to last or last page of the sticky and I get complement after complement on my exhaust.

Everyone has their own opinion. In my opinion SLOWmaster exhaust robs power and sounds like your average Z71 instead of a Z28.

My exhaust consists of 1" 3/4 long tubes and the TSP true dual rumbler X system with the TSP bullets and it sounds great. My only complaint is the drone but its not as bad as some cars I have rode in. It is relatively quiet when riding around town but SCREAMS at WOT. It has a nice deep rumble to it and I couldnt be happier with the overall sound and power increase. It was a great buy.

Your going to get a different opinion for each and everyone who posts in this thread. Best thing I can say is go to LS1sounds and Youtube and spend countless hours listening to everything you can. It's really the only way to see what you like and what you don't. Also, if you have anyone local to you who you could ride with or listen to their car in person, that would be helpful too.

With that said: Single Chamber Flowmasters; awesome muscle car sound. But, again, that's just my opinion.

single flows, dynomax bullets, or sweet thunders (my favorite of the 3)

loudmouth would be terrible for duals, the lm1 isn't even deep sounding as a catback...its high pitched and raspy and at cruise sounds like a boat.

I've had so many different dual muffler set-ups on my car it's unreal.. I think I founder a keeper with the Flowmaster Super 44's I just installed.. I will try to get a vid up tonight.. Keep in mind that they are a full size muffler, so ground clearance my be an issue for some.. I'm lowered an inch, but made room by beating the floor pans & my clearance is better than alot of guys who are running bullets.

Thunder, go listen to my sound clip in the sticky. My exhaust is not high pitched or raspy.
