Default *NEW PICS ADDED* Weld RTS deep dish rears with Alumastar skinnies are on!!!!

It's been a hell of a disappointing upgrade for reasons i wont go into, but after finally getting everything in my own hands after a buddy convinced me we could do it, the car is finally coming together and i have some FILTHY shots that i'm just too excited not to post! LOL

I was Very nervous about trying 2 separate style rims as a lot of times, they don't look quite right together but from the moment the RTS wheels first came out, the contour of the rims spokes reminded me of the alumastar 1 pc fronts and i took a chance and they work Perfectly together imo and i've had quite a few guys who saw my pics of the rims side by side wanting me to post up as soon as i had them on the car. I don't care for the way the spokes of the 15" RTS skinnies meet the rim except in the 17" version but i was only interested in a 15 so this was my choice.

So here they are! LMK what you think please. I'm no pro photographer by any means! LOL

As i got her on day 1........

I checked it out when I went and got my car for a bit today. I like. I like the height in the front too. The fronts are tucked so well because it has shortened arms on the front now

What size are the rear wheels and tires? Also, what is the backspacing and how much is the rear narrowed? Thanks for the info. Car looks great!!!

Should've mentioned it but the rear is narrowed 3"/side and the rims are 15x10.25 w/ 4.5" bs and the tires are the 295/55's.

Also i LOVE the tucked front end! That's the whole reason i went with it was because i HATED how my draglites stuck out so far. I have PA Racing c/m k'member and 1" narrowed upper and lower a'arms. That's why the fronts tuck in like that.

GORGEOUS! Did you have to custom order the shortened upper a-arms? I found the option for 1" shorter lower a-arms on PA Racing's website, but no option for the upper a-arms. Did you have to ask them to do that? I'm already desperate to have a front-end setup like yours. Awesome tuck! Thanks for sharing... congrats on the project.

Thanks a bunch guys i'm extremely happy with the results!!

Edward, i just asked for it and that was all there was to it. I didn't order from their site, i called jason directly. I wanted to use a sponsor but 1 i couldn't wait any longer for and the other, burkhart who is local to me only make the k'member for a manual rack or something iirc. There was some reason i couldn't go with his setup if that wasn't it.

Just so you aren't surprised, and it's very simple, i cut 1/2" off either side of my rack and 1/2" off my tie rod ends to make up the difference for the narrowed a'arms. It was pretty simple. PM me if you want any more info since pa isn't a sponsor and i'd be glad to answer any questions.

Looks sick man!!! I am thinking of selling my rear Aluma Star's and ordering the RTS for the rears to match my front Aluma Stars.

Do you have a picture straight behind of the rear. I like to see how much the rear wheels tuck under with that offest and b.s?

Thanks

I would too but keep in mind they are 16 lbs each, so they aren't very light but i still think it's worth it imo! I should've weighed my 10" draglites to see what the difference was.

The car is about 1 3/4 hrs south at my buddies house because i don't have a garage big enough to do this in so when this heat wave passes, i'll get some more pics up. I didn't even look at the drivers side yet so i don't know if the phb will need adjusting or if the rear is pretty well centered up already but it should be very close. I'll get more pics up before mid next week.
