when changing from the t56 to a th350 will i need to get a different drive shaft?

yes,if you have a short tail t 350 its about 3-4 " shorter than the t56.we just did this swap and had to have a new driveshaft made.

what did you do about the torque arm?

If you get the th350 with the long tail shaft you do not need the driveshaft. And give bmr a call they have the crossmember you need with the tq arm mount on it. And madman has the dipstick. Iam just about done with this exact swap. Just need to finish the cooler lines and fab up my shifter plate.
