Sorry but I am not to sure where to post this but my mom is currently in Kentucky visiting her dad and she just called me and said her truck haves no power at all. For example no lights coming on, when she turns the key nothing happens. Her truck is currently at a shop but they don't know whats wrong with it. When they took her truck to the shop a guy jumped started her truck and it worked but later it just completely died and showed no sign of power whatsoever. They replace her alternator, battery, checked spark plugs + wires, checked battery cables connection on starter and on battery, checked for ground. I am not too sure what else since I am in California and I have no clue what they're doing now. She thinks her ecm might be bad and told me to look up for ecm diagnostics and I can't really find anything for her truck. I don't know much about ecms at all right now. What could cause the truck to get no power at all? I am thinking corroded wires or possibly cut wires but she told me they checked for that to. I dont know if they're trying to screw my mom over or they really dont know.

I remember these old TBI trucks.....
No power to anything right? Headlights etc?
They used to break the aluminum P/S mounting bracket bolts & studs.
The battery's ground cable attached to the bracket.
Poor to no ground caused the same issue.
I'd have to wonder what kind of shop it's @ that they cannot find a no power issue.
