Default car stalling when braking

Hi guys hope you can help. My car has stalled on me about 4 times now when braking. I will have the air conditioning on, stereo, and will be braking and it stalls on me. When it does stall the air and stereo and all lights in the car are fine but the engine shuts off? Anybody have this problem? Now warnings come up on the DIC which is strange. The only thing I have notices about the car lately is when I am breaking the tranny is downshifting into second and gives the car a little push. I am not sure if this has anything to do with the car shutting off. Could a little rise in RPMs and fast breaking cause the engine to shut off? I have a newly rebuilt tranny with 3.29 gears from TEP. I will send him an email as well.

when the clutches go bad the AC clutch starts not letting the pulley spin free and will have resistance, then will get bad enough where the resistance from the clutch not letting the pulley and belt spin that it will stall the engine.

I had this problem on my pathfinder. It may be either a bad fuel filter or your oil. My oil level was so low that the car wouldnt idle. It sounds stupid but look at the basics. Check your oil and replace it if its been a long time. Replace the fuel filter if its old or you have a lot of miles. And check the air filter cause if its dirty, that can happen. I know this isnt a real technical response but sometimes its something stupid causing the problem.
