Default A header meets a starter and sparks fly....

Haha...I forgot to disconnect the battery.
Ballz.
I hope that there are no negative effects as a result of my being retarded. The hoodlight still worked I noticed before i disconnected the battery.

I think i just arc welded my header....has anyone done this and is stupid enough to admit it? I hope i did not fry anything.

As long as it wasn't for a long period of time I doubt you did any damage.

Yep I did it. I hate to disconnect my battery unless absolutly necessary (getting the idle to relearn with a cammed A4 is a bitch) so I just took my chances. Knocked the starter once, little spark but no damage. Starter worked just fine afterward.

I thought I was the only fool that did that.
