All the wiring is done... nothing has been done to the tune... I only have second gear and reverse... will the codes have to be overriden to get this thing to shift right? Or is there something else wrong?

You have to delete the codes to get it running right.

Do you have power at the main case connector?

Update... I had been trouble shooting this for a while slow67 helped me out quite a bit... explained what the trans needed to operate. I had it wired up right but the relay was not switching signal to ground 3rd. Replaced relay and all problems solved. Truck runs like a champ. Can't beat this way of running the 4l80e.

Anyone care to share how to do this, I got my 4L80E running today and I hate the unlock when at zero throttle, then locks again with throttle. Id rather it operate like a 4L60E lockup.

I am thinking about doing mine this way too. Hate the unlock when you let off the gas.

Basically:
- invert the 2-3 shift solenoid signal using a relay;
- drive TCC PWM using TCC Enable, or gate TCC PWM thru a relay controlled by TCC Enable.

Joe does this mean I will still have the 4l80E PWM? Most set theres up to 90 so it locks hard, but I like to set mine up to be a little softer (not like stock, but in between really) can I still do this with the swap?

Also I suppose the codes need to be set to 3 No error Reported?

Thanks, thanking about making this swap.
