Does anyone know if it is possible to switch fbody power leather seat over to a manual seat?? Curious as to if the seat brackets can be swapped over from manual seat to power seat, and anything else would be needed and/or prevent this from being possible. My driver seat has a bad wire or motor or something, keeps blowing braker fuse. Wanted to see if this was option before buying some race seats. Thanks!!!

I wouldn't think that would be an issue. Should bolt right up to seat pan. I work for a seat manufacturer. Let me know if you have any issues.

I swapped without any issues. Bolted directly in.
I went from power leathers to manual cloths and left the power connector under the seat.

No no, Pir7tr. I talkin about takin manual seat mounting bracket and puttin it on a power seat..... not swapping entire seats.

Ahhhh....I see what you are doing now.
I would imagine it can be done. If you plan to keep the same style seat, mounting a manual bracket to an original power seat should not be different IMO. I bet they are mounted the same way difference being one has a motor. I am curious to know now! Now if you were going from a TA power seat bracket to a camaro manual seat bracket that might be different.

i wanna take my stock 93 z28 drive seat and take the power parts and swap it to the trans am vinyl seats that i have, i got them at a junkyard, passenger is already power, driver seat is manual. guess the person that put that had them before me found one out a manual car then one out of a power car.
