Thumbs up *The Fikse FM5 thread*

I'm going to order these wheels in a few months and I'm confused on what finish to go with. Can you guys/gals post your cars with FM5's, finish of the wheels, size, & offsets?

Just do a search. Techni polish seems to be the most preferred and best looking center. I had 2 sets of FM5's and like the techni polish more

How much did you get those Azenis tires for? I have been searching around trying to get ideas without paying 300 a tire.

Paid $300 for the rears (the pair) ...from a local guy. Nice to find a deal once in awhile. Found the fronts on-line but still paid $500 shipped. All and all pretty good considering I at one point was going to put Pilots on them Tires should last a few years or few days depending on how heavy the foot is

Love the wheels, but not sure about that set up. It's too low, maybe it's bagged, and can be brought back up.

I too feel it's slightly too low. To each their own, however.

Fikse,

Sorry, don't mean to hijack, but noticed you on the forum. What can be done about older Fikse wheels that need some TLC? My centers (FM10s) have some etching on them. All I ever did was wash with soap and water. Thought about sending the centers to get powder coated, but don't have the torque specs for the bolts and believe I would need to order new bolts from you?

Any help or feedback would be appreciated!

If y'all are referring to the first picture of the Maroon Car from post #12, if you will look closer you will notice that the car is half way on a drive way entrance. It gives the appearance it is super low. Not all four wheels are on the same surface.
