Default Completely lost on the lifters

I bought a complete engine. It was dissembled when I got it, the only thing left in tact was the rotating assembly in the engine and the valves/springs are still on the iron heads. I got the lt1 out of a 96 Impala SS. I've no idea on what the stock lifters were. I have a box of lifters, that I don't believe to be stock, that came with everything. They are roller lifters and I think they are hydraulic. No idea. I've herd that lt1's come with solid lifters, and I've herd that they come with solid roller lifters. I don't have the slightest clue. First engine build and I'm still going through everything.

LT1s come with hydraulic roller lifters, not solid, and unless its the 4th cup of Disaronno talking those look like stock (or stock replacement) lifters to me.

Awesome, that's what I needed to know. My uncle wasn't sure what came stock, seeing as he likes to play around with the BBC stuff. I'm upgrading the heads to le2 heads and I'm going to use Lloyd's "Choppy idle" cam. The block needed bored .030" over, so new pistons as well. Going with stock crank and rods for the time being, just going to get them checked and the crank turned. Also having the block made into a 4 bolt main with outer bolts splayed for the extra RPMs I'll be running through it. I just wasn't sure what they were, so I figured I'd ask. I got some work coming my way, that's all I know

IIRC the LT-1's of old had solid lifters whereas the LT1's have hydraulic.
