loud grinding noise when startup, starter??

Default loud grinding noise when startup, starter??
about once evry 6 times i start it, this very loud grinding noise comes from the car, i have to shut it off and restart it. its not every times, just every now and then. im guessing starter sticking?

That's what it sounds like, I have replaced a few starters due to similar symptoms. You are going to have to replace the starter to find out or take it in to the shop for diagnonsis.

does autozone check them? or an actual starter shop?
i know its $175 for a new one.....ouch

Autozone does not check them, you would have to take it to an automotive repair shop or put another one on it to see if it fixes it.
