Lmao thanks....I think I have gone through more sports cars than most middle aged men. I get bored easily. However, a majority of them were LS1's with a couple mustang GTs here and there. :D

I'd like to do an LS6 cam, something not as noticeable for a little more power. But I love the sound at idle of a cammed LS1. Its one of the better things in the world to listen too. :-) Its just not practical for a car that's driven daily.

I'm running a 226/230 cam on a 114+4 LSA, very streetable, mild sound through my Magnaflow, power all over the rpm range with no surge or bucking (this is where our 4.10's help out too :chug:) I'm going to put a different ORY and a electric cut out soon so I can have some more noise/lope.

For your application I would do like a EPS (Engine Power Sytems) 222/222 or 224/224 on a 112 or 114 LSA. Both would be comfortable to drive and you will pick up some good low/mid range power and torque. Gas mileage won't suffer either.

I just noticed you don't have headers on the car....I would do some LT's before a cam swap.

Lowering springs kyb shocks, subframe connectors, strut tower brace, tubular k member and control arms, and panhard bar. Honestly a cam is the last thing I will probably do to it. I have muffler deletes on the car currently....next on the mod list would be long tubes and an slp loud mouth cat back.

LTs for sure but the loudmouth is super raspy, unless thats what you want... I would try something else

Loud mouth 2 isnt that bad but I would go magnaflow if I had a catback. Tru duals and x pipe is the only way to go for exhaust though imo.

Back to the original subject of this thread, the weekend of Sept 10th coastal car shows.

I will be cruising around the area on Saturday. I live in the area and wait for the day all year. I will probably be up on the Long Beach peninsula. A friend has a cabin at Ocean Park. Seaside is fine but it is a little cramped, the major action is on the peninsula from Long Beach to Ocean Park for the Rod Run to the End of the World.

There are about 1000 entries and two or three times that number parked or crusing the peninsula. It's like a rolling car show for 15 miles. Takes awhile to get through Long Beach but that is half the fun. Seaside is all blocked off, no place to park and no cruising.

I might hit Seaside later in the day. Maybe I'll see some of you on the road. If you see this coming at you, remember to wave! :D

I love the way my LM2's sound. Not loud tell you get on it:) and it has a higher pitch sound to it, not a low deep sound like most of our cars sound like.

I like Meineke super thrush turbo performance mufflers! That have that sound of 1000hp tt v8 even if you drive a honda! :D

I will be in Ocean Park too. Much bigger car show, plus a rolling thunder cruise all the way from Long Beach to Ocean Park. it can take an hour just to roll through Long Beach. You aren't going to cruise through Seaside, the streets are all blocked off. It is a park and walk.

There are over 1000 cars at the actual show in Ocean Park and several times that either cruising or parked on the peninsula.
