Rebuild a B&M Ripper?
Just purchased a 98 z28 the shifter is a B&M Ripper that was installed as soon as the guy bought the car in 98. Its got over 100k on it and the shifter is sloppy. If I take it out of first and just let go it sits right under first will not return to center.
Ive been considering just replacing it with a MGW but was wondering if these things come apart?
Theres a Fastenol right down the street figured maybe I could just replace the bias springs to give more feedback and pop it back into place.
Anyone know if this can be rebuilt?

Yes, everything is removable, it's very simple inside there. If the springs are worn out, you might be able to match them up at a hardware store. If anything else is broken, you won't be able to do much... I've already called B&M and the only thing they have for it is the inner boot.
That made the decision easy, I went to a MGW

I replaced the spings inside my B&M abou 2 years agao. I had the same issue you are experiencing, it has kind of sloppy. Also while i had it out, i but the brass shift cup bushing into the trans as well. The lowes down the street from me had some springs that were just a bit taller than the stock ones.

I had a no name short throw shifter and just ended up going with a mgw shifter, best move i ever made. Its springs are so firm and posative and the throws are much shorter. I would ditch the b&m and go mgw. MGW FTMFW
