Default Intake opinions?

Ok wondering what intake to put on this car without spending 1k for a fast. 224r cam, 205-220cc heads coming, all similar bolt ons. What does the ls6 intake have over performance products, or bbk? I already know weight, just wondering how dyno number comparison's are and what everyone else suggests.
Thanks guys!

man this subject is beat to death. if you already have a ls6 stay with it. if you dont go with the bbk or performance products. look up the thread started by studderin. back to back dyno tests showing bbk is the best bang for your buck manifold.

yeah there is a ton of info on this topic,my vote is stay with the ls6, you will always be in better shape with a fast but the ls6 for the price is the best intake imo without spending alot of cash, but a fast will really shine on a head and cam car, you can buy them used ,buddy just got a fast 90 for a lil under 400 shipped and its like brand new, thats a pretty killer deal but there out there

If you have an ls1 intake manifold just upgrad to an ls6. You can find them used on here for like $300 bucks shipped. $1k isn't worth it for an intake manifold in my opinion....

Right now all I have is an ls1 intake. Looking to upgrade, just trying to figure out whats the best to buy for the money and how the aluminum intakes compare to the fast, or ls6

the bbk and weiand alum intake will make a little more power then a ls6 intake, and you can get them used for $300.they look great when painted ,and are boost friendly.check out studderens intake dyno test ,its a great thread.

I love my BBK intake and I notice none of the so called heat soak signs. The BBK will how ever add about another 10-15 pounds of weight over and LS6 though.
