Default Remote Clutch Bleeder? Investment or Waste?

I'm ordering a clutch and wondering if I should add the remote clutch bleeder for 45 bucks. I've seen a thread where bleeding a clutch is as simple as placing the nozzle of a mightyvac into the master cylinder.

Anyone had success with this method or is it best to get the remote bleeder?

I just did a clutch and replaced the slave, so I had to bleed it. I used the mightyvac system and it worked fine for me. If I had to do it over again, I would have purchased the remote bleeder though. More of a piece of mind thing than anything else though. Some people have had trouble with the vacuum method. If you happen to be one of those people, it could really suck without the remote bleeder.

Chris

Edit: no pun intended lol...

45 bucks to never have to crawl under your car to bleed is well worth it

I would never even think about removing my remote bleeder. You can flush an entire can of fluid through the system in no time at all, without even really getting your hands dirty. It makes doing the job more often a breeze.

If your trans is out...this is a no brainer. Even if waiting on the bleeder sets your trans install back a few days. Totally worth it.

Bleed a buddys clutch from the hole in the trans tunnel and was easy but messy and goes into the bellhousing. Myself I bought the speedbleeder and was worth the money if you dont want a hole.

Thanks guys. I went ahead and asked Jason to add the speed bleeder on top of the TDP Diamond Stage 2 clutch I ordered.

Our Remote SPEEDbleeder Line is one of our best selling items, and for good reason.
