Default Spark plugs with pictures. breaking up

Noticed the other day when i was on the highway when i got on it, 80% throttle maybe that my engine sounded like it was breaking up slightly around 4500-5000rpms. the rpms would fluctuate during that little run. It wasnt super apparent but i did notice it.

so today i pulled the plugs to see if anything was obvious. I pulled 2 on each side of the engine. They all looked similar. Tan on the porcelin and on the strap. slightly different color above the elctrode but there was some little white specs on the ground strap and porcelin. i took some pictures its hard to see.

i know you cant technically read a old spark plug like this but could it be detonation? Ever since i shipped the car to San diego the car has been lacking a little power up top compared to when it was back home in Wisconsin. not much but just enough to tell atleast since i drive the car so much. different gas maybe?? i use 91oct here since thats all they offer. back home i used 93.

NGK Irridiums. gapped .040. about 25,000 on them if not a little more

What is causing the white specks on everything? Never had that on other plugs before with this engine. They were always clean or normal looking.

idk who the hell is reading plugs in here lol but just looking at that i see a few things.........

1. Your part throttle fueling looks good
2. you have too much timing in the motor becuase you cannot see the heat mark at the turn of the ground strap.......it has been burnt all the way down to the threads.....
3. the white spots are caused either by fuel deposits or possibly in ur case detonation based off of the fact that the ground strap heat mark is not visible......
4. based off of the heat marks on the threads the heat range of the plug is proper....

so playing with the timing a little could help fix the problem possibly? should it be anything to worry about since i really dont have a way to get it looked at right now. Being tranfered to a diferent duty station across the country ATM.
