Default Those with aftermarket WS6 hoods COME in!

I received my VFN WS6 hood and struts today. Its been a 7 week wait.

Whats the procedure that you guys used to install it? i know there is a vid on their site and on youtube which i will and have watched but you guys got any tips?

i already removed my old hood.

With the new hood did you guys wash it, clean it? its got tape glue all over the corners from the packing.

I noticed the nostrils have to be massaged some so the grills can fit in there and screwed down

The hood is so much thicker on the edges, front and back than the OEM hood....just makes ya wonder how it will fit and look right.

i just wanna get it lined up and lookin good so i can roll with it for a month or so to let it cure before i get it painted.

lets have it....some tips?

thanks!

using my IROC as a hood stand!!

VFN website has a video of install. I know you have to adjust your hood mounts on each side.

yeah it came with OEM GM hood screens but they dont fit in the nostrils to good.....so some material has to be sanded down.

i just got an idea and will do my air/egr delete and change my plugs out......cause the hood is off and it gives me some room to play.
