Denso...2344025 16 inch wire with plug end. It will work in any of the 4 02 sensor positions, the sensors are all identical, its the length of the wires that changes the part numbers. Just get the long wires and zip tie the extra length to the frame.

www.rockauto.com
or
Amazon.com

About $33.00 each.

DO NOT buy Bosch crap sensors. Densos are the best sensors ever made. GM puts these sensors in their AC Delco boxes and sells them as GM sensors, have been for about 2 years now. But you will pay upwards of $180.00 each at the stealership......SAME exact sensor in the same Denso sealed bag.

So if I'm reading this correctly....

Denso 2344025 is better than / same length as Bosch 13111's that we use for long tube headers?

If that's true, you need to be sent a 6 pack of your favorite cold and tasty adult beverage for the money I'm about save.

YES....and Densos are 1,000 times better than garbage Bosch. The yare also better than the factory AC Delcos that GM used to make. Some cars will not run on Bosch 02 sensors. My engine will not even stay running. It spits, backfires and sputters. If I try to put it in gear it stalls immediately. I unscrew the Bosch and screw in either GM or Denso's....and it purrs like a kitten.

Some cars have no trouble with Bosch though....its hit or miss. Either way Bosch is complete crap compared to Denso. Mine arrived today via UPS......Ipaid for them yesterday on Amazon.....they arrived today. $75.00

If I'm ever in Lafayette again, which I am occasionally for work......I'll call ya...

the 2344025 are not the same as the 13111's. Those Densos are FACTORY replacements. I bougth those Denso's thinking they were right but got the headers on and those 16" ones are about a foot too short. So I had to go to two different parts stores and buy the 13111's . If I could have bought the denso's (Part# 2344617) i would have.

2344087 (11.81" long wire) and 2344025 (16" long wire)...are the only two Denso choices for 98-02 F-Bodys.....they fit all positions. Just buy the 2344025 for whatever position you need, the wire will be sure to fit all 4 positions. Zip tie the extra length. I've been doing that for years.

Doesn't matter though......its up to you to get the right wire length........thats why the part numbers are different. Just order the proper Denso.

Amazon.com has Part #2344617 Densos too, right now in stock. $53.00....44 inch long wire.

NEWS FLASH.......BUT THAT PART NUMBER.......DOES NOT FIT OUR F-BODY's......

I mean instead of buying the Bosch 13111's for those of us running long tube headers... no need for rear O2's.

Which part # of Denso is the same length as the 13111?

(I guess I could just cross reference on Autozone or Advanced, but I'm feeling lazy today, LOL)

I don;'t know the length of the Bosch 13111......but those two part numbers I listed above for Denso are all you have to choose from.

I've been using the 2344087's for years. The fit my 1 7/8 LT's just fine. But I bought the 2344025's this time because of 4 more inches of length, because I'm going to heat wrap all of my 02 sensor wiring this time and wanted extra length.

My rear 02's have been tuned out since 2002 when my 427ci went in.

If Amazon is out.....these are $34.00...free expedited shipping.

Not so lazy after all....

13111 has a 50" wire? Is that about right?

If so, Denso Part #2344617 should be for long tube headers, right? Or will they be a few inches too short?

Point is I do NOT want to use extensions. LS6427, how did you get them to work, when 85camaroZ28 says they are too short?

**edit** just saw another thread where a guy says the 13111's are about 30"... Aggrevation is setting in

I bought 13111's years ago, thats how I know they do not work in my car. NO WAY did they have a 50" wire. It was like 12-13 inches long.

2344617 WILL NOT work for 98-02 F-Bodys. It will only work on Corvette 1997-2003....Corvette Z06 2001-2003

If you buy 2344025 it will work in any position.........PLENTY of wire. You will be zip-tying extra wire to the frame.

13111 has 24-30 inch wires.

There is no way you need that much.

Denso 2344025......... I don't see anyone with any kind of LT's would need more than 16 inches.

Let's throw a wrench in things.... The concensus is that the 13111 is the one to get so as to NOT have to run o2 extensions.

I went to autozone online, and said my car was an 04 ZO6. You should see all the options for after-cat o2 sensors.

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par.../N-jler5Z9ixrp

WTF?

They list Bosch 13111, 13450, & 13483 all as downstream O2's

Denso lists 234-4209 & 234-4104, both as downstream O2's

Why all the different part #'s?
OP, sorry for the Don't really want to start a new thread and I figured it would help us both out.

Alright "dr_whigham",

My 02 sensors were delivered today. I went outside, put my car on ramps and installed them. I bought Densos from Bennett Auto last time. Looks like the drivers side wire was about 10 inches long....and the passengers side wire was 14" inches long. I have no idea what the part numbers were back then, they just gave me an upstream right and an upstream left....which is all I need with LT's and my rear 02's tuned out.

Look at the pic below, there's the two I just took out. The new 2344025 (16" long) fits but there's not much extra, but I also shoved the wire behind and to the top of the heat shield, so that took a little more than that old 10" wire. The passenger side new 2344025 (16" long) has a little extra wire that I zip-tied to my tranny lines like last time.

So the 2344025 Densos are 16 inches long.....I don't see how they won't work on anyones F-Body with LT's......

Those 13111's....I have no idea what I would do with 30" of wire....lol

BUT......Maybe there's some LT's out there that are way different than mine.......so simply get under the car for 30 seconds and measure for what you need. Be sure.......

Anyone know if these will work for an 04 5.3L? I swapped it into an 01 Mustang and replaced the factory ones with the Bosch ones and it won't run with them plugged in.

See, some PCM's will not except Bosch................ All PCM's are NOT the same in our F-Bodys. Some do their own thing.

What year PCM are you using? I think that would determine it. If its a 98-02, I don't see why not.

Denso 2344025 and 2344087 fit all these cars. SAME exact sensor, they are listed to for there specific cars because of the wire lengths and the different positions. Just measure.

I and just about everybody I know runs the 13111 and none of use had any problems. Perhaps you got a bad sensor but instead of finding a working replacement you decide to bash Bosch for the rest of your life. That's childish and irresponsible IMO.

I'm just really confused now. Can anyone clear this up for me? so I buy bosch 13111's I'll have a crap load of wire to zip tie right? And if I buy these denso's which are supposedly super awesome for less which part number do I order for my FBODY ta with LT headers? I dont recall if it was ever made clear whether he ran these with his Fbody or a corvette. I need to order some o2 sensors ASAP so the sooner the better

I put Bosch in my car and they work great!! It's like everything else here, a person asks a question there are many answers but some people I guess just always want to be right. I've been bashed a lot lately for my opinions. I try to help, if you don't like what I'm saying then just spend your money the way you want.
