Default Strano springs + Drag Radials

I did the Strano/koni setup a while back and am running 19" ruff racing 278. I wanna buy some 16 or 17" wheels with drag radials but dont know what size will fit with the lowered car. Anyone running this setup with DR and if so what size. I know all that matters is the height but i want it to look tucked under with out having to roll the fenders. Thanks

I have Strano springs and Bilsteins and I run 315 Nitto dr and no need to roll the fenders. Just make sure you have bumpstops.

It varies car to car. I have the 315/35/17 NT05R's on 17x11 ZR1 wheels. My buddy has the same tire on 17x10.5 Torq Thrust M's and didn't have to do anything.

I ran 275/50-15s ( 26" tire) on 15x8.5 Centerline Warriors on the rear at the track for quite a while. They fit and don't rub at all although they stick a little past the fender. In terms of the Stranos being too low for that size tire they are not. I now have 275/60-15s (28" tire) on 15x10 Weld RTS rims. During regular driving the are fine and have plenty of clearance all around. I think they are rubbing somewhere under WOT but I haven't had time to take a look. I'm sure a 275/50-15 on RTS would clear no problem.

Larry

As mentioned every car will be different so you have to check. Here are shitty pics of both setups but you can sort of compare the fender clearance . Centerlines first, Weld RTS second.

In running 275/50/15 with eibach pro kit, doesn't rub any just rides like crap. I'll be doing the strano/ koni this winter.

I run 255/50/16 MT Drag Radials w/Strano-Koni set-up and have NO issues what-so-ever.
