Default I want to rebuild my LT1 to handle a 100-150 shot with no problem..

I have a 94z28 with full bolt ons on a motor that will soon need a rebuild in the next 5-6 months (personal reasons).. Now I've looked into head and cam work and seen plenty of options that will make real power but then again do I really want to have that noticeable cam loap everyday? Oh yes it is my daily driver.. Now with that said I believe I am going with the sleeper rebuild.. Stock/forged internals with a big shot so I can hit a good number for those days I get to make it down to a track or even if I decide to take it to the street and win some quick gass money or somthing lol..

Anyone doing the same set up or have any advice?

Please keep the negative responces to yourself..

A stock motor should take 125 without sneezing.

But if you're going bigger and better, go with a 383 and put a mild cam in it.

you cant forget though if you have an a4 you will need a stall and you will also want to do your rear end if your going 383 plus a big shot in the 1.4

You should have NO problem with a 125 or a 150 shot. Correct plugs, proper gap, clean fuel system,up to par fuel pump or a 255Lph and have 2°-4° of timing removed in the tune or have an MSD digital 6 to do it for you....

I personally had my NX wet 150 shot on my car,3.42s,m6,autozone clutch, stock tune,tr55 plugs gapped at .032,worn out BFG DRs and k&n cai. 11.4@116 best part is it was done on a single shark nozzle.
Thank you Mike Wood at Nitrous Express!

nobody will know its a stroker lol but besides the point heres what i'd do..............if it were me id run the stock crank and block.....decent rods and pistons..........put a nice little nitrous cam in it with a good set of head gaskets and spray the **** out of it lol

will sound damn near stock with a nice mild cam in it........will look stock........will prob get half way decent mileage.........and will be able to handle a 175+shot no problem........

Read the last line of my signature and PM me if you are interested

If you do a forged 355 with stock crank, forged rods and pistons and a nice set of heads and cam, you can keep the sleeper status and be able to smoke anything you want.

The bigger the engine, the more power you can make while sounding like stock.
