My brother is looking at modding his 2011 Camaro SS and wants to know what are all the bolt-ons out there right now! Also what are some of the other small mods that people are doing to get a little gain! Any and all help will be appreciated!!!

Thanks

Easy bolt ons

Cold Air Intake (20whp, $300-500)
Headers & Exhaust (25-40whp, $600-2000)
FAST 102 Intake Manifold (8-15hp, $900)
Underdrive Pulley (5-8 hp, $200)
Ported TB (3-8hp, $150)
Electric Water Pump (8-12hp, $600)
Dyno Tune (10-40hp depending on mods, $350-600)
Aftermarket Shifter (Worth its weight in gold, I like MGW)

More difficult work
Cam & Springs (35-55hp, $700-850 for a complete package)
Ported Heads (20-30hp, $850-1200+core depending on company)

All HP gains and cost are rough estimates, but should be pretty close.

I really have no experience with the LS3, but that first reply said you can get 20WHP with a CAI alone?

As I said, I don't know much about the LS3. But with my LS1 a CAI will get you 10WHP...TOPS! And that's combined with supporting mods. That seems like a stretch.

It's not.

Good to know. My SS is going to be with Ellis this week if the parts are on time!

The LS3 responds amazing to mods just like all LSX motors. Have him browse our selection. We carry some top notch products at some great prices for the 5th gens!
