Default Chrome paint on 10 spoke SS wheels?

I would really like my SS wheels to be chrome rather than the dull aluminum. I know better than to buy that 3.99 crap but with some of the higher quality chrome paints would a set of wheels turn out OK? Anyone tried this yet? For the good paint I see it like $60 for about 10oz. I would be using an airbrush to apply it.

Check out this stuff, I buy from these guys all the time. Its your best chance at painting your wheels to look like chrome on a budget with good results out of a can. http://www.alsacorp.com/Merchant2/me...Yes&Quantity=1

Ya I seen that stuff on Ebay and was leaning towards it. Looks like that little kit is nicer though, it has everything you need. Thanks

Not sure this is going to deliver the results you are looking for but if you do it be sure to prep it well. Wheels see alot of abuse and good prep goes a long way. Post pics if you do it.

i would sell yours and find a chrome set, that paint chrome craps never comes out right with anything and my guess will look cheap as hell, good luck man but there is a reason chrome plating is a big buck to do

In all honesty I use the Alsa chrome system at work along with some of there other products at work. I haven't used there Chrome in can I use there other system and spray it out of a gun. We buy tons of this stuff. Let me tell it works, its crazy. Just go to there website and you will see what im talking about. Stuff looks really amazing, is it 100% chrome look, no. Does it look and work amazing yes. I wouldn't rely on the stuff they sell at pep boys or any other $20 can.

If you want it done right, break the wheels and tires down and have them dipped.

Buy chrome or you could hand polish the ones you got.
