Default Steve Morris ProVolute

Any of you guys seen this?

Hot of the press as they say, this is the New Steve Morris Provolute! this is the F2 version and there are F3 and F1 versions coming soon, this was made inhouse at the Steve Morris creations workshop,it is produced using the latest dynamic flow analysis software, this is a tried and tested modification as the foreruner of this new volute was tested on Graig Onriks record setting 509ci 1976Hp a couple of months ago. There are also internal volute modifacations,so either your old volute or a new volute can be modified in house at Steves workshop, this new mod is worth 200-300HP,It smooths the flow of air entering the volute, increasing flow =more cfm and boost with the same pulley combination.Steve will be releasing a back to back video showing a standard F2 and the new Provolute soon,im testing this myself next week so ill post up the results soon.Gotta HAVE ONE MAN!

Quote from Steve Morris's website

Here they are, 3 months of development time into these blower mods.
The blowers are modified internally and also have our new bell installed. We can do this for all size blowers D1's to all sizes of F3's in fact the D1s and F1s really respond well if you are trying to get more power out of them. HP gains can be from 100 to 200+ even on these smaller blowers. We will continue to have more info and testing data posted right here on this site. We will have CFM increases, Air Outlet changes, and parasistic HP loss data availible within the next few weeks. I do need the entire blower to do all of the modifications and we sell this as a up grade on new blowers and do conversions on old ones too.

I did not put it out there because it was not done, I told a few people I was working on something and now 3 months and $30,000 investment in programing and machine later I have a finished really, really, good product. This thing has 1 taper and 2 different radius'. Thats just in the bell, the mods in the volutes are taking about 4 hours alone and we will continue to work on even more mods as we test in house efficiency of what we do.
Currently we have 12 hours of machine and manual time into each blower, so it is not cheap. $2150 for the blower mod complete. Introductory 60 days they will be $1895. I have all sizes done including 1 F2 restricted size. I have to have the entire blower.

I just took a video of a F3 we did spinning the blower slow at only a 1.27 gear set and back to back on camera it picked up 141 HP nothing but a switch of stock blower to the Pro-Volute blower!
Within the next 2 weeks I will have the dyno room all set up and I will give you all actual CFM numbers of stock verses Pro-Volute AND Parasitic drag numbers of the blowers.

I will have the video up tonight late of the F3 back to back.

keep in mind I will explain more later on in the thread that this kind of mod REALLY helps a engine that is under blowered. A engine that has to much blower will not pick up as much, also cars with major funnels and proper frontal air will pick up less.

One of Steve's F2 motors made ~1976hp on the engine dyno with this mod and his top end setup on a BBC.

Yup, next rule in the book will be "no volutes allowed" in any racing classes.
