The flap across the bottom of the window....is it supposed to be glued to the window? I went through the car wash today and that flap was blowing away from the window more than I remember seeing in the past. Can you guys check yours and let me know? Thanks!

There are two layers around the window. The window is in the bottom layer and should be completely sealed around the edges. The top layer is what you can see from the outside and you should be able to place your hand all the way around the window. It will get filled up with water when you are washing it, but convertiables have drains built in to pass the water through the car.

Ok,thanks.Thats what I needed to know. The outside bottom piece sits under the left and right side pieces and there was some kind of black sealer or RTV that held the bottom against the window on each side-just a dime sized dab-and that has come loose which,I'm guessing,is why that bottom has so much movement.

Convertibles are not made to go through automatic carwash's.

I bought mine used about six years ago with 30K on it and it never leaked a drop. Now I get some water from the A pillar, not much-gonna try some rubber treatment on weatherstripping.....I guess age does take it's toll.
