i would be willing to pay cash $$$ money for someone to stop by with tuning software and turn off my VATS so i can drive my car. its a 02 camaro donor engine and factory pcm. south lincoln area. thanks

I'd stick with dan, at dynosport.

Great guy to deal with, and has helped us out many times.

im going to call both places today. i found a bcm signal simulator (vats bypass) box on ebay. that should get me running. so i can drive it to the shop or dynosport.

You could simply take your computer out, take it to Dan and have him turn the VATs off with his bench harness. Take the computer home, fire it up and drive it to him for the rest of the tuning.

when is Dan or Dynosport open? i sent my gf to the address on the website and she couldnt find it and they arent answering their phone?

vats is stupid easy to bypass, take a multimeter and measure the resistance of the chip in your key, theres an orange tube with two incredibly small wires in it that runs from the lock cylinder, cut them, wire the resistor that matches your key in between the two wires vehicle side, and youre done. i do about 4 of those a week during remote start season

i understand how the system works. but i dont have a key, a tumbler, or a bcm. i found a bcm simulator that creates the signal the bcm sends to the pcm and installed. it i also took my pcm to dynosport and had dan flash out the unneeded codes.
