Watched it last night and was drooling for sure.

However as much as I love top gear they need to make up their minds on shit. The mclaren was to refined and so was the lambo, but yet when a car can't properly go around the track they bitch too.

Either way, I like how all the brands are trying to make the fastest car they can, I just wish Ford would come out with another GT.

The best way I can explain it is: Perfection can be boring because you now the result from the beginning, it is the pursuit of perfection and the work it takes to get there that makes things exciting and fun. There is an increased sense of accomplishment when you the driver are more involved and there are less gadgets and gimmicks to assist you in your goals. IMHO:usa:

The only thing I can think with their comments about it being too tame, is like if Chrysler took the viper and made it quieter, put on stability and traction control as well as ABS etc etc. The draw and appeal to a viper is the pure adrenalin rush of the monster torque and lack of driver aids.

For a completely new car, it looks the same from the front as before. Not very special. The backend is cool and the interior (especially the dashboard) is awesome, but if I had the money I still would buy a lot of other cars before this would be on my list.

I know Hammond tends to be the most excitable of the three Top Gear Hosts, but that car seemed to really REALLY bring out the giggle factor in him. Those guys have a helluva job.

The car looks good, I'd love to see/hear one in person. It's hard to tell how big the new "Big Lambo" is without a good side-by-side. Maybe throw it next to an R8 or a Corvette. I wonder what Top Gear will compare the car to. The new McClaren?

I don't know. I can't see many other cars I would want over this car. 700hp naturally aspirated, beautiful interior, beautiful exterior, the wonderful exhaust note, with added refinement? If God made a car in his image I think this car would be it. :nod:

No matter what performance figures may say about one or two cars, Lamborghini and Chevrolet shouldn't really be compared. It's more retarded than comparing a Mustang to a Corvette.

^^^I've heard the upkeep on Lambo's isn't as bad as most other exotics. I've heard they are pretty reliable. Oil changes probably cost a fortune though :D I would take the Lambo if only for curb appeal :D

I think the point is nobody cares. I would realistically take a ZR1 also, but that does not take away from this lambo. Its badass :nod: People are so used to injecting their BS opinions that aren't even relevant to the topic being discussed. That is what's stupid.

If you can afford the aventador you can afford the maintenance on one. Most of the people who buy those cars can afford to drive them year round so I doubt they would go bankrupt.
