I have a Lockcraft LT7000 Vats decoder / interrogator. These are what the locksmiths use to interrogate the VATS module to get the correct key code for your car so they can make new keys incase you lost them and have to get a new one cut. I lost the keys to my Firebird so I bought this to learn about the VATS system and fix my car.
This unit will also tell you the value or code of an existing key so you can get a duplicate made. It works with both single sided keys and double sided.
I have some accessories with it that are included
