So my gf surprised me with Yankees Red Sox tickets for this Friday and we'll be there all day Saturday.

What are the can't miss things to do while we're in Boston? The only real plans right now are Sam Adam's tour and the game.

Thanks for the help guys! :chug:

i guess it depends what your thing is - the common is always nice to walk through, you can walk newbury st and hit the shops. fanuel hall seems to attract a lot of people on a saturday its swamped...aquarium, the constitutuion, bunker hill monument are a few favorites...top of the prudential building for a nice view. if you are staying the night you can hit the north end for the best italian around

North end has the best Italian around. As stated.

If you really have some free time look into the F1 go-cart racing.

Thanks for the responses.

I was thinking about doing some of the things 98Hardtop mentioned, and the duck tours sound good too. I'll have to keep in mind the north end.

f1 is cool but we have a few tracks like that around here.

You could goto Quincy market and check all that touristy junk out, they also just put in the ride share bicycles and go for a ride along the charles and down to science park and beacon. Also check out bodega ( http://maps.google.com/maps/place?q=bedega+boston&hl=en&cid=10499137784333894620) .

Jump off the Tobin Bridge. Oh wait, that was the first thing I wanted to do when I tried driving through Boston with my wife who used to live there.... Long story lolz.

Anyways there are tons to do there, either going to a few musems, or like said with the duck tour. Or even the Aquarium. I'll post more when I talk with her as she knows some good spots.

She took a photo of me when we were driving and its a running joke between us to this day. Ahhh memories. That and the 100$ in room service at the Liberty Hotel, felt good when I had money. :bang:

Yeah I remember those days too....broke as a joke now.

We have the carriage rides in NYC and she had no interest in those when we saw the tree etc. Great suggestion tho thank you.

-get your picture taken infront of Cheers
-north end: restaurante saraceno (higher quality italian for olive garden prices)
-fanuiel hall / quincy market: tons of touristy shops, but also lots of good restaurants and bars / nightlife
-if you like history, you should find a big list of stuff like the boston massacre site, the granary burial ground (sam adams, john hancock, paul revere are buried there), paul revere's house, boston tea party, the USS Constitution, old north church, bunker hill monument, etc etc etc
-you can see where all the boston crime movies were filmed :jest: like the departed, boondock saints, the town, mystic river...
