Default Old (serial) hptuners interface question

Were the licenses that were sold back before the MPVI interface good for only one model year? I have an old HPT serial cable interface that I used to tune my 01 Z28 and I want to sell it, but it has been so long since I bought it that I do not remember if the license was only good for the 2001's or what. I know I didn't purchase any additional licenses, so does that mean mine is only good for 2001 LS1s?

Licenses are stored in the software on the serial version so you don't have to have the cable connected to check licenses. Just open the editor and click on Help > License Info and it will tell you what it is licensed for.

That is correct. I forgot about that on the serial connector.
