Ok i need some help i have a mostly stock 454 out of a 78 pick up has a 500 lift cam and intake to match and headers now peanut oval port heads . i want to make more hp here are the heads im thinking about using but not sure about cam or intake?????? or if these heads would work???? im looking to make around 500HP here are the head specs.... PLEASE HELP T car is driven alot and all street no track time... it has 8.75 to 1 comp now (stock)

320cc is a little big for a street 454, you would need to spin it pretty hard to make em work. you would lose low edd torque.

those race rites and a moderate hyd. roller will make more torque than you know what to do with :rock:

Does anyone else notice the "category" these heads were placed in?

Anyway. Yes 320cc is way to big for a mild 454. Those specs also look like the cheap eBay heads made by ProComp. Search them on YB and you'll see why you should stay far far away from those heads.

Just go with the Brodix's and have fun
