Default t56 clutch info

I just had my tranny rebuilt, band new ram clutch, and I resurfaced the flywheel for the first time and im using a orileys slave cylinder. I got it in and had it bleed but I just can't get it to go in gear easy unless I try to put my foot threw the floor when shifting. Do anybody have any suggestions on where I should start looking for the problems, before I forget its a brand new mastercylinder Oswell on the car

Bleed it again. Punp 5-10 times hold it open then close. Might have to do it a couple of times. Sounds like you have air in line.

i been dealing with clutch issues for a few weeks now... will the car shift gears fine sitting still? I would try the mityvac method to bleed it.. most definitly seems like its a hydraulic issue.. mityvac made a huge improvement on mine.. also the Drill mod will help as welll..

Its still hard to. Put into gear while standing still. I been bleeding for 3 was now. When I took it to the shop they said bleeding wasn't the issue. Last week I did the drill mod and it still suck, im bout to buy the tick master cylinder and see Wat happens before I pull the tranny for the third time

its definitely your clutch not disengaging all the way. because you cut your flywheel and removed material from it, that now in turn has moved the pressure plate further away from the slave cylinder. so the slave cannot fully disengage the clutch because it is too far away. so either shim the flywheel, get a new flywheel, or get an adj. I think im going to try a tick adj MC first, but they didn't have to take off much to resurface it cause the flywheel only had like 20000 miles on it

Id put good money on it being the Oriley's slave. Cheap aftermarket slaves, like from Orileys and Autozone... are crap.

Just replaced one on a friends car, was in the car for 2 weeks... petal feel was crappy, wouldnt disengage all the way, sprayed fluid all over the inside of the bellhousing. Actually fell apart pulling it out... after 2 weeks.

Slaves and Masters, I ALWAYS recommend going with GM parts or better. Cheap ones dont last.

A GM Slave and our Adjustable Master Cylinder kit are the best shifting, most reliable hydraulics on the market.

I advise staying away from all RAM products. I've just seen too many guys have problems with them.

Definitely sounds like a disengagement issue if the hydraulics have been bled. The tick would be your best bet without pulling it back apart and measuring to see how much of a shim you need. Goodluck, Chris
