Default single nozzle placement?

So do you guys think the placement of my single fogger
Nozzle is a good place?
Used to run a dry kit but decided
To go wet. Want to make sure the location is suitable or if you guys recommend putting it closer to the throttle body. Its located on the end of the Maf.
Thanks joe

Good to hear. Figured it would be fine. I wanted as far up stream as possible so all the cylinders get a equal amount.
Thanks joe

The reason its placed upstream is because we want the cone that leaves a nozzle to encompass the entire intake tube before it hits the throttle body.

Graham maybe you can aswer this, my current tune is for nitrous but i have not sprayed the car yet.my timing is at 21.5 dergrees most of WOT and when i get in to 4th it goes down to 18.5 deg.do you think this is a safe starting point for my timing on the bottle? i do know i need to pull plugs and verify
but i want to be safe and not blow up the 6.0 i just put in the car.
thanks joe

that is what i run n/a, i got my mail order when i put the lq4 in the car and have never ran stock tuning on this motor, current tune is my starting point for the nitrous.timing starts at 27 deg from 3100-3685 rpm, then from3685-5680 it drops to 20.5,the from there on out its at 18.5deg. i have yet to spray the car because i want to make sure things are in order before i do.unless i just am being a dumb ***

Haha. No you got it right Joe. Usually people are pulling timing from an NA tune. I wanted to effectively know how much we are pulling. But I understand where we are at right now.

Why does the timing stay at 27 untill over 3500 rpm? You will want the window switch set that high as well is why I ask.

How much you plan on spraying.

from what i can tell from my log that unfortunitly i forgot to set tps% to record on, it only in first gear right when i lauch and the rpms drop.from there
on out it drops signifacantly. i dont plan on spraying 1st gear so i can
keep traction and make my ten bolt live longer. and i do belive i am not at
WOT in that time.from looking at my log timing decreases at 30 mph and from
what im looking at i belive i am still slipping my clutch to keep traction.i need to run it again with tps% info so i can verify.
thanks joe

I think you should be fine with the 125 as long as you get a window switch and cut it on around the 3500 as Grahm said above

Cool thanks kinda what I figured. I am wondering if dry kit would be fine to run instead. Car with the old motor seemed to make better power on the dry kit vs the wet kit

Id go with the wet kit personally. Once you get the fuel right per the plug, itll make more power.

?? I hear this from time to time, but a 125 rwhp shot will be a 125 rwhp shot.
Doesn't matter if its wet or dry.

The peak power from either shot will be the same or close enough it is not a deciding factor.

As long as the jetting is honest, I agree.

I have a question and I havent used anything besides a plate in the past.

Do you want the wet nozzle aiming towards the TB? I would think you would want it spraying "up" towards the top of the intake tract...

Well I guess I should fix what I said. Mainly when activated the dry kit comes on harder and it was deffinetly noticeable
