Default 1993 TA with 4L60 problems

I have a 1993 TA with Vortech supercharger, longtube headers, hot cam, 410 gears, and a bunch more bolt ons. I just bought a Level 3 4L60 not E from Mad Dog Transmissions. I finally got it installed and and the trans goes from 1st to 2nd around 5 mph and it seams to shift fine in each gear but it does not kickdown when I floor it, and it feels like the car has about half the power that it did with the stock transmission. Please Help. Any suggestions!!!

It sounds as if you need to take a very close look at the Throttle Valve Cable adjustment.

How did you adjust it when you installed the transmission?

I just unhook the cable from both ends and left it hanging there until I put the new transmission in, and then I just hooked it up like it was on the old Transmission.

Changing the trans will require a readjustment of the t/v cable.

Thanks!! Another issue i,m having is the gear selector cable will pull the trans out of park, but will not put it back into park. If I pop the cable off it will click into park. Any suggestions?

The cable housing should have an adjustment near where it mounts to the transmission. Google that and see what you can find... if you need help shoot me a pm and I'll walk you through it.

Here is a write-up to properly adjust the shift cable. http://shbox.com/trans/A4_trans_linkage.html
