Ok I have a Camaro full boltons with a thunderracing trak cam shaft with racetronix 42lb injectors. I am wanting to spray no more than 150 and here soon I will be putting Heads on the car. Ok can i get by on the stock fuel pump or will I need to upgrade? Cause im not really wanting to hack up my exhaust taking the Tank out and i dont want to cut a hole in my car. Please any advice Thanks ryany

A higher volume fuel pump and Racetronix wire kit is only like $ 150 bucks. Going with heads you'll definitely need it.

Tiger, can you link me to where you're finding the racetronix pump and kit for $150? Everywhere I'm looking, its right at $200+.

To the OP,

I would say its a pretty safe bet you will need a pump. The other option is going to be a dedicated. Which does have a lot of benefits and will save you from taking off the exhaust. But the dedicated is around 700-800$.

I bought my Lingenfelter for $100 and the harness for $50 buth that was 3 years ago. So they went up a bit.

If $210 kills your budget. Find another hobby.

Boost a pump works really well, but it burns up the pump sooner due to the higher operating voltage. You don't want the pump going out when the juice is on (unless you want to air out your crank case).
Do the fuel pump & don't look back. Your injectors will do just fine as long as it is a wet shot. Good luck!
