Need advice Gen V, VI eng for 67 C10 Hello and thanks for the wealth of information on this site. I'm about $40k deep in my 1967 C10 Chevy truck. The truck is near perfect and I'm satisfied with everything except the drive train. It retains the original 327 which is less than impressive on the power scale. That said, I'd like to replace engine trans combo with something newer that produces around 450hp. My knowledge is limited to say the least but researched the GMC full size trucks and Cadillac Escalade engines. As for price and performance, how do these combos compare to the LT1 and other LS engines? Any advice will be gladly appreciated. Thanks
