Default Ignition Switch Install Issues

Well ignition switch went bad, so we replaced it with a Duralast part I bought at Auto Zone.

Ever since the new install, battery voltage is reading much higher than it used to but the stereo doesn't work (the security light has been on since I bought the car with no issues). The brake light is also on and the odometer is now out after this install.

I tried unplugging the stereo and the moment I did the brake light and security light went off. Lol I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery multiple times and still no repair.

What could be wrong with my car?

Well I need to send in my PCM to have the shift points re-done, so I might as well delete the VATS while I am at it lol

I'm still curious as to why the odometer isn't working though. Hopefully my cluster isn't going bad. All connections are done
