i have a rear mount t72 that im looking to raise.. i have the most heigth out of it right now that i can get and the only thing keeping me from going higher is the panhard bar.. i think i have umi's bar with the relocation... but my question is can i cut the bar back near the center of the car- make it sit a little higher then once im past the turbo weld another piece of tubing from the piece to where it connects back on the rear... this is to make it so i can raise my turbo and the bar is out of the way.. but is this possible?

if its not clear just ask me some details and maybe i can explain... im also a 5 year fabricator/welder so i can make it right... i just dont know how the angles will affect everything

The pan hard bar locates the rear end from left to right and must endure compression and tension stresses. If you can fab an element to satisfy those requirements it makes no difference what its shaped like, or what it fits around
