Where are you buying your LED's?
Having a hard time narrowing down a place that sells trouble-free LED's. I was going to go with Autolumination from the few reviews on here but using Google search, they have a really bad reputation among other forums. I'd rather not go with eBay LED's as I've heard those were the crappiest of the bunch. So those who've had no problems, where did you get yours?
This is for the front DRL (#3157).

This is where i get my LEDs. I dont know if they would work for DRLs but i used them for underhood lights and they are super bright. They come pre-wired with a resistor to.

I've placed about 15 orders with them, never even thought about going anywhere else.

yeh, the price is a little steep, but the quality is there. and changing the drls to LEDs will save you money in the long run, imo...no more replacing burnt out bulbs, no more housing melting, and no more replacing burnt up sockets...again, just my take on it

I really don't mean to hijack .. I've used the search and got nothing.. I just installed LEDs in the drl housing (3157) they work fine when the headlights are off.. When there on the flashers don't work and both turn signal lights on the dash stay lit.. Only when the headlights are on.. I need some input.. Lol

Replace the flasher with an electronic flasher such as the Tridon EL12.
The stock flasher is thermal. LEDs don't draw as much power as the stock incandescent bulbs. Which means they aren't drawing enough power to heat-up the bi-metal strip in the thermal flasher to get it to break contact. That's the clicking you hear in a thermal flasher. Strip heats up, breaks contact, lights turn off. Strip cools off, makes contact, lights turn on. This head-out/cool-off, contact/no-contact cycling is how a thermal flasher works. LEDs don't draw enough power to get this cycle going.
This is also why the stock thermal flasher doesn't work when a bulb fails. The circuit is no-longer drawing enough power for the cycling.
An electronic flasher will work regardless. In other words, even is a bulb it out, the unit will still flash. Unfortunately, the side-effect is that you won't readily know if a bulb has failed.
Also, what were you using as search criteria? This topic is covered quite often; a few times a month. It should have come up in a search.

So you guys that have step lighting under the dash. Did you add that, or has mine been blown the entire time I have owned the car?
If you added it, where did you tap into for power? I started to say at the switch, but that would only light it when turned on with the dimmer, not by epening a door.
