Default KY turbo Build: Stock Btm End

Figured I would start the build thread. The kit will be here in September from Josh at Kentucky Turbo. Great guy to deal with by the way. The car is a 02 Black SS m6. It was a cam only car with 4.30s, etc in it. Here are the particulars of the build with a couple of pics.

Turbo:
6.0L Manifold Turbo Setup:
-2.5” Charge Pipes with a T4 Flange and Integrated Waste Gate mount and
narrow band O2 bungs
-3” Down Pipe with a Wide band O2 bung run over the k-member
-Precision Billet PT76/75 Turbo
-Precision 46mm Waste Gate
-Tial Q 50mm Blow Off Valve
-Front Mount Intercooler 31”x12”x4”
-Aluminum 3” Intercooler Pipes with Integrated BOV mount
-4 Ply Silicone Couplings
-T-Bolt Clamps

Internals (completed):
z06 cam
PAC dbls
7.40 pushrods
Stock 241s (never been off)
ls6 intake
Stock TB

Fuel (Haven't started yet):
e85
Lonnies dbl pump kit (need to buy here in a few months)
Possibly the fuel line/rails kit
80lb injectors (need to buy)
Boost reference regulator, etc. (need to buy)

Suspension (completed minus gears)
Dana 60
3.73 with spool (just need gears)
MWC dbl adjustable suspension
Strange coilovers in the front
Strange dbl adjustable in the rear

Clutch (completed):
Monster Stg 3 (6xxx) miles
Mcloud Bellhousing
Steel driveshaft
Tick MC

All I can remember right now. The goal is to run 11.30s on DR radials and put down 500 rwhp on Fuel Injections dyno. Not real worried about putting out record numbers, just want it reliable until I can build a motor. Here are a few pics of what the car looked like at the San Antonio Big Money Bash, getting washed before going under the knife and some motor pics with progress. Will update as everything gets completed.

The last pic is of the oil drain. Saw Tally Transam did it and had goodluck. Didnt want to have to pull the pan so I hoping this will work out ok. Motovative Solid mounts will be going in next week as well. Post up any suggestions you have as I am new at FI.

Default Few parts that will be going on soon

In the bag is Modular turbo's alternator relocation kit.

I took the paint off the coil brackets and had them chromed. They will be going on black wrinkle painted valve covers.

Breather can with 2 bungs

Motovative Solid Motor mounts.

Hell yea man my car has a twin!!!

You will no doubt make 500rwhp with that set-up.

Sounds identical to how my car's life started. Stock Bottom end, PT76GTSH(older model 76/75) and M6 but with a 12 bolt.

I want to try E85 so bad, I have the fuel system for it I just need 80#'s probally instead of my 60's.

Yea..I need to get in touch with lonnie and see what he thinks about it. Maybe in the next couple of days I will get around to it. Not in a huge hurry with the car. Just want to get it out around January to enjoy it in the cool weather. Yea, I lucked out with a station a mile from my house with e85. Figured that would allow me to keep the 241s on the car for now. Your build has turned out really nice. I am jealous of that 4l80e you have.

Well.....fuel injection usually handles the tuning and gear swaps. They may just complete the gear swap and I may trailer it to Patrick g or lmr or g force. Not sure on that yet. What's ur setup? U in San Antonio too?

Great looking build. I've got lots of turbo experience so if you need help with tuning or tricks, give me a shout. The other guys you mentioned are top notch too.

Couple of new pics. Hotside got here yesterday. Hopefully will have it on the car on Tuesday after I purchase manifolds.

The 2nd pic I started looking at routing the belt with the new power steering lines from modular turbo. This was the best route because of where the turbo drain is. Hopefully this will work out.

The 3rd pic is the modular turbo alternator pic. I don't like the color and after I get the car running/tuned, I will pull the bracket off and paint it black. I will also be purchasing a chrome alternator hopefully.

Josh at Kentucky said the turbo and cold side should be here next week.

Here some pics. I did some polishing with Adam's Polish. The stuff is legit. Waiting on the cold side, turbo, and BOV.

I have one of Josh's kits on my car. Between your build, his support and your tuner, you will NOT be dissapointed!!
