Default g-body swap info needed

my next project car is a 87 regal 5.0v8 with a auto trans. I am wanting to do a complete 5.3 of 6.0 budget swap. what would be the best way to go with it, carb or efi and if there is anyone that has done this swap would greatly appreciate any input.

I just finished my 87 Regal swap, was not bad at all.

Do a lot of reading: this site, and Maliburacing.com, and Gbodyforum.com.

If you want specifics, PM me

Mounts and pan depend on personal preference. Seems a bunch of people use the adapter plates and a hummer or CTSv pan which clear but hang under the crossmember. I used a f-body pan which requires setting the motor further back and notching the heater box, but does not hang below the crossmember.

Start by checking out John B`s swap http://www.montecarloss.com/ls1montecarloss/index.html
