New From South Jersey Hello. My Name is Rick been a drag racer since 93 when i bought a 67 elcamino (straight 6) from a farm owner down south. First pass was a 14.25 with a smallblock 406. 4 speed car. Since then the car has been 8.70's @ 153 with a 565 BBC. I recentlly pick up a 97 GMC sonoma for the street that i was going to drop a smallblock in. But got a deal for 2 ls motors 01-03 5.7 and a truck 5.3. Now I'm trying to get as much info about these motors as I can. Thanks in advance for any help.
