Default lm7 vs lq4 mpg

which of the two offers better fuel economy I know the 5.3 in theory should be easier on gas. swapping one of the two into a 87 regal just wondering.

Your MPG will be more based on drive train, driving habits, weight of the car, and to a lesser degree PCM tuning. Pick one that just works for you.

I will be running a carb just wondering if anyone has the similar set up and what there getting?

if your running a carb your mileage will depend a lot more on your carb tuning ability rather than engine size
